A new initiative that we rolled out in our community is our Culinary Thrive Program. Many of our residents have spent countless hours in the kitchen preparing their favorite main dish or dessert. To put a unique spin on our dining experience we have invited our residents and their family to put on the chef’s hat and prepare their family recipes for our community. This month we featured Augustine and Marie F’s Pasta Faggioli and Pizzelle recipes. It was great to have Augustine hands on during the cooking process – it certainly added an extra touch to the recipe! These Italian favorites were enjoyed by our entire Rockland Place community and certainly created a special moment for Augie and Maria and their family members that joined them that evening for an intimate dinner.
