We were lucky enough to have 1st grade students from St. Mary Magdalen visit Rockland Place. The class was dressed up as community helpers, so we had many doctors, police officers, teachers and even a waterslide engineer represented. The residents enjoyed mingling with the fresh faces, while the students were excited to share what they were dressed up as, as well as passing out homemade Valentine’s cards. The entire event was perfect, we can see that these students have bright futures ahead of themselves. If you would like to have your students or youth organization visit our community for an intergenerational program please reach out to Megan Richmond, Community Life Director.
